Mechanical Designer/Draftsman
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
Work/Education Experience:
The candidate must have knowledge and/or ability to learn the use of Carrier HAP program and perform manual calculations for computing HVAC loads for bulding design; ability to operate AutCAD working with floor plans, details, and schedules.
Skills:
-Must be competent with AutoCAD systems
-Detail oriented
-Excellent verbal and written skills
-Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines
-Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Quattro Pro
Job Duties:
-Perform HVAC plumbing and fire protection design in AutoCAD.
-Modifies drawings in AutoCAD based on engineering mark-ups, written comments and team discussions.
-Effectively interacts as a member of a design team at all stages of each project.
U.S. Citizen with a security clearance or candidate to obtain clearance required.
